This morning, we left Little Harbour and headed to Brewers Bay. But first, Julia served a classic breakfast of cheese omelets, bacon and fruit.

It’s been quite windy out, so Rob opened up our sail to use instead of the motor. It was beautiful to see the sail catching the wind. It’s hard to get a good photo of the sail since it’s so large, but here’s one…

As we were sailing, we saw a large house built on a stunning cliff at the water’s edge. The cliff is just beautiful going down to the water.

I thought I’d give you a good laugh at how I look while in the humid tropics. 🤣 With all the humidity plus wind, my hair curls up and looks crazy. You need to see what I look like in very dry Colorado to understand the difference. So here you go…

Did you have a good laugh? I did!
Once we anchored at Brewers Bay, Julia fed us another fabulous meal.
This is Mahi Mahi with roasted tomatoes, broccolini and basmati rice. We practically licked our plates!

After lunch, we jumped in to snorkel. Sadly, this wasn’t a good snorkeling spot. The coral was all broken and dead, and there were very few fish. Of course, we found some to take pictures of.
We saw a number of juvenile Stoplight Parrotfish (below), but didn’t see any of the adult ones here.

There was one area that had some interesting coral formations, with little fish darting in and out of the crevices. Here you can see the pink of the coral and a tiny juvenile Yellowtail Damselfish. They lose their neon blue spots and change color as they grow into adults.

For this trip, we have our new DJI Osmo Action 6 video camera. It’s tiny and waterproof, great for snorkeling! Here is the first video I made using it. It captures what we saw at Brewers Bay.
Meanwhile, back at our house with our house sitter (Raquel), all our critters are settling in. Here is a great pic Raquel sent us of Mocha prancing into her bedroom.

We usually have the guest room door shut, so now that it’s open, the cats want to spend time there. This picture is Mocha with Lexi under the bed. The black blob stretched out with the white leg sticking out (on the left side) is Lexi. She loves to be wherever Mocha is.

After snorkeling in Brewers Bay, we moved on to Cane Garden Bay for the night. That way, we’d be ready to go for snorkeling in the morning. Cane Garden Bay has hotels along the beach, so it’s not a quiet spot if that’s what you’re looking for.

This evening, Julia created another delicious meal. We had short ribs over sweet potato puree. This was just so good!

Finally, our day was over. Time to hit the sack! Tomorrow, we’ll jump in to snorkel here.
