This morning, we left Little Harbour and headed to Brewers Bay. It’s been quite windy out, so Rob opened up our sail to use instead of the motor. It was beautiful to see the sail catching the wind. It’s hard to get a good photo of the sail, but here’s one…

As we were sailing, we saw a large house built on a stunning cliff at the water’s edge…

Once we anchored at Brewers Bay, Julia fed us another fabulous meal. This is Mahi Mahi with roasted tomatoes, broccolini and basmati rice. We practically licked our plates!

After lunch, we jumped to snorkel. Sadly, this wasn’t a very good snorkeling spot. The coral was all broken and dead, and there were very few fish. Of course, we found some to take pictures of.
We saw a reasonable number of juvenile Stoplight Parrotfish (below right), but didn’t see any of the adult ones.

There was one area that had some interesting coral formations, with little fish darting in and out of the crevices. Here you can see the pink of the coral and a tiny juvenile Yellowtail Damselfish. They lose their spots and change color as they grow into adults.

Meanwhile, back at our house with our house sitter ( Raquel), all our critters are settling in. Here is a great pic Raquel sent us of Mocha prancing into her bedroom.

usuallyThe cats like to hang out under Raquel’s bed. We usually have the guest room door shut, so now that it’s open, the cats want to spend time there. This picture is Mocha with Lexi under the bed. The black blob stretched out with the white leg sticking out (on the left side) is Lexi. She loves to be wherever Mocha is.

This evening, Julia created another delicious meal. We had short ribs over sweet potato puree. This was just so good!

Finally, our day was over. Time to hit the sack. Tomorrow we’ll move on to a new spot.
