Today, we stopped at two snorkel spots and then moved on to a third location to anchor overnight. The first spot is called Alice’s Wonderland ( at Ginger Island). It had a lot of sea fans and other soft things growing on the rocks.
But first, we had breakfast! Casey made savory and sweet crepes. Yum! The sweet crepes are in the middle of the table with the fruit.

We were lucky to see a stingray swimming by in the depths below us. It was deep, so hard to get a better picture than this…

We also saw some lobsters walking around. Another difficult picture due to the depth. But, you get the idea!

After snorkeling for an hour here, Joran moved the boat to “Fallen Jerusalem” for our next snorkel. This area is near “The Baths” of Virgin Gorda (which are very popular). We had visited The Baths on a previous trip, so we skipped it this time and snorkeled at Fallen Jerusalem. The small island of Fallen Jerusalem is a wildlife/bird sanctuary.
It was a gorgeous place to snorkel! The rocks are both above and below the water.

There was a lot of color here compared to other snorkel spots we’ve visited thus far.

It’s cool to swim between the giant boulders.

Every place we snorkel has an abundance of these tiny yellow striped fish. I’m not sure what kind of fish they are. Usually, they are spread out and dart away when I approach. This group just stayed in place – so I got a nice picture of them.

This is an amazing picture of an Ocean Surgeon fish. It’s like it posed for a portrait! When they just swim around, you don’t see all the colors that you can see here.

Of course, we also saw some Caribbean Reef Squid here. It’s interesting that they always seem to be in pairs, like this pair.

What a beautiful purple branching soft coral.

This was a neat wall of coral shelves and some branching soft coral. This entire area had all kinds of these growths on the huge boulders.

We saw a fish here that we had never seen before – a Blue Reef Chromis. This was the only time we saw this fish during our entire trip. They are tiny – maybe 2″ long.

We see lots of these Sergeant Major fish everywhere. Typically, they are swimming nearby in schools, to it’s difficult to get good pictures. But, this little guy gave me a nice pose.

Back on the boat, Casey made a tasty Caesar salad topped with grouper for lunch.

After lunch we moved on to Little Trunk Bay to anchor for the night. It was a scenic Bay with more of the giant boulders and a nice beach.

There were plenty of other boats moored here, too.

Tomorrow morning, we’re moving on to Great Dog Island.
